What Are Dental Implants?
Dental implants are artificial root replacements designed to resemble natural teeth in shape and function. They are surgically placed in the patient’s jawbone to replace missing teeth and maintain and support dentures, crowns, or bridges.
What Are The Benefits Of Dental Implants?
- One of the major benefits of dental implants is that they offer unmatched stability for the replacement artificial tooth or teeth placed on top of them.
- Dental implants offer optimal security for adjacent teeth by preventing any discomfort or movement.
- Dental implants can improve a patient’s quality of life by restoring the ability to move their mouth and chew, as well as their bite force. They also restore a person’s confidence, making a cosmetic difference to their smile and appearance.
- Dental implants are one of the best available preventative oral solutions, helping to reduce the risk of tooth loss, gum disease, further bone loss, cavities and jaw deterioration.
- Depending on the patient’s exact needs and requirements, dental implants are very versatile and can be covered with bridges, crowns or dentures.
- When compared to dentures and bridges, dental implants are by far the strongest solution. They also behave like natural teeth.
What Dental Implants Do We Stock & Distribute? – Discover Meisinger’s Expert Range…
Bone Level Implants:
Bone level implants are specifically designed for bone level restorations and offer a more flexible approach to dental restorations. This is achieved as they allow an individual emergence profile and serve to achieve better aesthetic results. Our range of Meisinger bone level dental implants includes the NC Standard, NC Tapered, RC Standard, RC Tapered, and RC Titanium-Adhesive Bases (Ti-Base). Meisinger’s bone level dental implants are available in two versions, cylindrical and tapered (BLT). When it comes to bone level implants, ours included, submerged healing is recommended. This makes them ideal for clinical situations where a two-phase procedure is indicated.
Tissue Level Implants:
Renowned for decades, the Meisinger tissue level implant is designed for a trans- or subgingival healing at soft tissue level. Tissue level solutions offer a good emergence profile with a vertical platform shift, which creates optimal conditions for the surrounding tissue. Our tissue level range includes the RP Conical, RP Standard, RP Tapered and WP dental implants. Meisinger’s tissue level implant is available in two versions, cylindrical and tapered (conical).
Our tissue level dental implants are designed with maximum efficiency and accuracy in mind. For example, during prosthetic restorations, through the vertical platform with a distance of 1.8mm for the crestal bone, the implant-abutment connection is made easily accessible. This is particularly beneficial for procedures concerning edentulous jaws and the posterior region. By removing cement residue in the prosthetic phase, there is less disturbance to the emergence profile than is the case with implants inserted subcrestally or crestally. Meisinger’s implants make these aspects of the dental procedure or treatment easy and efficient!
