WP
The Tissue Level implant has been one of the most used implant for decades. Tissue Level implants are designed for a trans- or subgingival healing at soft tissue level. Due to the implants’ good emergence profile with a vertical platform shift, the implant offers optimal conditions for the surrounding soft tissue.
Through the vertical platform, with a distance of 1.8mm for the crestal bone, the implant-abutment connection is easily accessible during the prosthetic restoration. This is particularly advantageous in the posterior region and for edentulous jaws. The removal of cement residue in the prosthetic phase disturbs less the emergence profile than this is the case with implants inserted crestally or subcrestally. The TISSUE LEVEL implant is available in two versions, cylindrical and tapered (conical).
Connection
-
- OKTAGON® TISSUE LEVEL implants have a connecting via an 8° inner cone (Morse-taper) with additional an octagonal anti-rotation to secure the prosthetic components in position
Material & Surface
-
- OKTAGON® implants are manufactured from Grade 4 pure titanium. The surface is Sandblasted with Large-Grit and Acid-Etched. The macro-roughness exhibits a profile of 20 to 40 µm with micro-roughness of 2.0 to 4.0 µm.
Prosthetics
-
- The measurement of the microgap between implant and prosthetics is between 0.34 – 0.76µm (SEM), resulting in a strong connection between every implant and abutment.
Guarantee
-
- The MEISINGER IMPLANTS guarantee program is designed to support all clinicians involved with the OKTAGON® Dental Implant System
